High-temperature resistance

PAYNTICONE is a silicone heat-resistant paint, a type of coating formulated with silicone resins to provide exceptional heat resistance and durability. This type of paint is designed to withstand high temperatures without losing its adhesion, colour stability, or protective properties. This type of paint is commonly used in applications where high temperatures are prevalent, such as industrial equipment and machinery, exhaust systems and automotive components, stoves, ovens, and kitchen appliances, metal surfaces in close proximity to heat sources and high-temperature environments.

Typical uses: Industrial chimney, heat exchanger, high temperature pipeline etc.

Surface Preparation

Prior application of PAYNTICONE: -

New surface: Surfaces generally must be clean, dry and free of all loose, dirt, dust, grease, wax, oil stain and other contaminants before paint application.

Painted surface: For a strong preceding coat, light sanding is recommended. Meanwhile for a weak preceding coat, total removal of the coat is highly recommended. Then surface must be thoroughly cleaned, dried and free of all loose, dirt, dust, oil stain and other contaminants before paint application.

Drying Time Touch dry 30 minutes
Recoating Interval   ≥ 2 Hours
Theoretical Coverage Approximately 8 – 12 m² / liter (depends on surface conditions)

Safety, Health and Environment

During painting, make sure no source of ignition at surrounding and no smoking. Always remember to use protective equipment especially eye-goggles and a face mask to cover the mouth and nose. Remember to ensure adequate ventilation in rooms you are painting – open windows and doors wherever possible. In case of contact with eyes, rinse immediately with plenty of water and seek medical treatment. To remove splashes of paint from skin, use suitable cleanser or soap and water. When not in use, store paint in cool and shaded place and do not directly expose sunlight. Do not dispose paint into drains or watercourses. Wash your hands after use.
